Dominican agrotourism at its finest…organic coffee, rice and flowers, oh my!

At Rio Limpio, our visitors experience the natural beauty of the area along with the simplicity and diversity of the setting – fresh mountain air, rich natural resources and a colorful cultural history dating back to the ancient Taino civilization. Take a break from the clutter of the city and enjoy the peace and isolation of our surroundings.

Rio Limpio offers a variety of activities to our guests that include horseback riding, coffee tours, archeological sites, cycling, and bird watching. We also offer rustic lodging facilities, camping, a bar/restaurant, conference rooms, and gift shop.

One of the greatest draws of Rio Limpio is our close proximity to “Nalga de Maco” National Park, a 278 sq. km. protected home to a number of endemic birds, amphibians, and flora threated by extinction.

We offer the opportunity for you to learn the ways in which we take care of our land, experience our living culture, and discover our natural environment. We see your time with as a chance to not only see but also participate in the lifestyle our community lives in Rio Limpio.
